Winter Boy

In 10 years our family will probably live in a place that is boring and ordinary...Clay will have to just believe us that he went to the beach every day in Hawaii for his first two years and then after that we lived right next to Washington DC and it snowed "DEEEEP" snow (as he likes to call it). For two kids who grew up in the very beautiful (but very ordinary) Bosque County, our lives have taken an exciting twist in our first few years of marriage.
Of course Clay-Jack was really excited to see the snow as it fell all day - I just had to wait for Clif to get home to actually get out there in the freezing weather. Clay spent most of his play time "eating the ice", we tried to throw some snow balls, but he just ate them.
I forgot to tell everyone that Evy Lou should not be Evelyn's nickname...a more appropriate name would be Squeakers...or Squeaks. She makes squeaking noises in addition to the traditional grunting noises that every newborn makes. It makes for a noisy night...especially when you add her eating on top of the other two noises. Both Mam & Tutu have agreed that her squeaking is loud and unique!
